Everything the game does not tell you on day one — written for this server, with this server's numbers.
Deuteria is a space strategy MMO that runs in the browser.
The classic loop is intact — build mines, research technology, colonise planets, raid
your neighbours — but almost every system on top of it has been rebuilt or replaced, and
the economy runs at a ×100 multiplier. Numbers here get very large
very quickly, which changes what the right decision is at nearly every step.
These articles are the same ones players read in the in-game wiki. They describe how this server behaves, not how the genre usually does, so if you are arriving from
another space strategy server the differences below are the ones that will cost you a
fleet if you assume otherwise.
Beginner's path: start here
Six short steps from a new account to a working empire. Each one links to a page that goes deeper.
If you already know the genre, start with The Synergy Guide.
It is the map of everything this fork added — Academy talents, Lifeform races, alliance
classes, relics and officers — and, more usefully, which of those multiply together and
which are just one more additive term on a very large pile.
What makes this server different
×100 economy. Mines run past level 500 with 10 more levels every week, storage reaches the quintillions, fleets reach the trillions.
Academy. An account-wide talent system with Miner, Commander and Discoverer trees, paid for in Academy Points earned by playing.
Lifeforms. Four playable races — Humans, Rock'tal, Mechas and Kaelesh — each running a population and food economy on every planet.
Expeditions that matter. Finds scale with committed fleet value, with deep-space anomalies, collectible relics, jackpot rarities and named NPC factions carrying bounties.
Engine-tracked alliance wars. Declared by member vote, scored automatically at every battle, ended by peace, surrender or score threshold.
A living galaxy. Hundreds of autonomous empires mine, scout, raid, fleetsave and colonise around the clock, so the universe is never empty.
Free to play, free to win. Dark Matter is earned in-game. Progression gates are technology and energy — never price.
One persistent universe. Accounts are permanent. A rare soft reset is announced well ahead, and accounts keep their Dark Matter, Academy and relics.
Server rules: one account per person, no third-party bots or scripts, no resources moved to a stronger account without a fair return, and a cap on repeat attacks against the same planet or moon. Read them before your first raid.
