Terms & Conditions
Last updated 27 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of DEUTERIA ("the Service"). By registering or playing, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to play. One account per person, as set out in the Rules.
2. Your account
Keep your login details secret; you are responsible for all activity on your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable — they may not be sold, gifted or shared.
3. Rules of conduct
Play by the Universe Rules. Breaking them may lead to warnings, suspension, loss of in-game items, or permanent closure of your account.
4. Licence to play
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and play the Service for your own entertainment. All game software, graphics and content remain the property of the operator and its licensors.
5. Dark Matter & virtual items
• Nature. Dark Matter is a virtual premium currency; in-game items and Dark Matter are a limited licence to use features within the game. They are not your property, have no real-world monetary value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
• Availability. Real-money purchase of Dark Matter is not available while the in-game store is closed. The rest of this section applies whenever the store is open.
• Purchase. You may buy Dark Matter with real money. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken through third-party payment providers, subject to their terms.
• Delivery. Dark Matter is credited to your account immediately after successful payment.
• Right to cancel (consumers). Where a statutory cancellation right applies — 14 days for UK and EU consumers — you expressly request that delivery of Dark Matter begins immediately upon purchase, and you acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once delivery has begun.
• Refunds. Because delivery is immediate, purchases are final and non-refundable, except: (a) duplicate or clearly erroneous charges; (b) items paid for but not delivered; (c) transactions later verified as unauthorised; or (d) where a refund is required by law. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
• Chargebacks & fraud. Initiating a chargeback or a fraudulent payment may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of Dark Matter and items.
• No cash-out. Unused Dark Matter has no cash value and is never redeemable for money.
6. Closing an account
You may stop playing and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms or the Rules. On closure, any remaining Dark Matter and items are forfeited without refund, subject to your statutory rights.
7. Availability & changes to the game
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". This is a high-stats hobby server: we may change, balance, suspend, reset or discontinue the universe, and virtual items may change in value or be rebalanced through updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that game progress will be preserved.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for lost game progress, virtual items, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-game and, where required, we will ask for your renewed consent. Continued play after changes take effect means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies to you. Contact: [email protected].
